The VBC is partnering with the Central Pennsylvania WWII Roundtable
to welcome WWII 3rd Armored Division veteran Walter Stitt on Thursday,
June 4, 2026, at 7:00pm ET at American Legion Post 272 near Harrisburg, PA.

Walter Boston Stitt Jr.
3rd Armored Division
Walter Boston Stitt Jr. is a World War II veteran who served as a corporal in E Company of the 33rd Armored Regiment of the 3rd Armored Division.
Walt was a tank loader and gunner who fought in France, Belgium, and Germany. He received two Purple Hearts for his service and was discharged with a permanent disability.
